Georgia picture

We had some fun in Georgia in October. Ribbon (pictured) went Reserve Winner's Bitch under Ann Atkinson at the Australian Shepherd Club of America National Specialty, and Flash, my smoochie, went 2nd in Open BlackDogs under Alan McCorkle. What a good boy! (Flash, not Alan).(Though I am sure he is a good boy too).

Some more smalls...

In sort of a bird mode right now. Trying to get more small scratchboards done, though I also plan several larger works of cheetahs, tigers, a Gret Blue Heron, you know, the usual charismatic megafauna.
This one is in one of the galleries that represents me.

Road Trip!

A recent conversation with a local businessman rekindled an interest in depicting the countryside of my area in Carroll County, Maryland. To that end I am going out to the farm roads of the area with fellow artist Terry Miller, looking for suitable subjects for later artworks.

Dawn Drink resulted from a previous Carroll County foray,

A new venture starts with this post. Will see how well I keep up with it (and whether it is of interest to anyone else!).
So this week is devoted to preparing for the Maryland Sheep & Wool Festival at Howard County Fairgrounds. Coming weeks will bring other deadlines and projects, some of which I will even report here.
